-An Invitation to a Flourishing Life with the Institute for Global Human Flourishing
For thousands of years, people of faith have believed we are created not simply to survive, but to flourish—to grow in purpose, relationships, character, health, and hope. Today, science is exploring that same question.
The Global Flourishing Study, co-directed by Dr. Byron Johnson of Baylor University and Dr. Tyler VanderWeele of Harvard University, is one of the largest studies of human flourishing ever undertaken. Following more than 200,000 participants in 22 countries over five years, the study is helping answer one of humanity’s oldest questions: What helps people flourish? This summer, Baylor became the global headquarters for this landmark international research effort.
Please join us for an engaging conversation about the study’s early findings and discover a practical framework for understanding your own flourishing, along with your family's, your work's, and your community's. Whether you are simply curious about living a flourishing life or interested in research that is shaping conversations around the world, you’ll leave with a fresh way to think about flourishing—and a glimpse of how Baylor is helping lead one of the most important conversations of our time.
-Meet & Greet with Baylor’s Employee Resource Groups
Join members and leaders from the current Employee Resource Groups on campus. Learn about upcoming events, membership opportunities, and resources available to you through these groups as a Baylor staff or faculty member.
Please note: staff who attend this meeting should mark the time as time worked, as this is a work-related event.
