Disability in the Arts Celebration: Call for Artists

The Baylor Center for Disability and Flourishing, Art Center Waco, and the Waco Committee for People with Disabilities invite artists with disabilities to submit their work for the 2026 Disability in the Arts Celebration.

This community exhibition celebrates the creativity, talent, and contributions of artists with disabilities across all artistic mediums. Artists of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Submissions may include painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art, fiber arts, mixed media, and other forms of creative expression.

Selected works will be featured in the Disability in the Arts Celebration Exhibit at Art Center Waco on July 18, 2026, providing artists with an opportunity to share their work with the broader community. Participating artists may also choose to make their artwork available for sale during the event.

The submission deadline is June 20, 2026.

Join us as we celebrate the power of art to foster connection, creativity, and belonging while highlighting the unique perspectives and gifts of artists with disabilities.
