Basics of Private Funding for Technology Companies

This session gives a broad overview of the different funding rounds (eg: Seed, A Round, etc), how funding rounds correlate to technology risk, and how different funding rounds will generally attract different types of investors. The differences between angel, institutional, private equity and venture funds are discussed, including different motivations and expected outcomes from these different types of investors. Finally, some best practices on how to prepare for private funding rounds is outlined.
