America 250 Community Quilt

During this special community event at the Mayborn Museum on Saturday, June 27, 2026, guests of all ages are invited to share their unique contributions to the American story by designing a quilt square that will become part of a large, commissioned America 250 Community Quilt. Using fabric markers, participants will represent their perspective, heritage, hopes, or community. The final quilt will be on display at the Mayborn Museum and reflects the voices and creativity of our region. Throughout the day, guests can watch the quilt come together in the rotunda of the Mayborn Museum as individual pieces are assembled into a powerful visual tribute.
