2025 Keston Spring Lecture featuring Dr. Wallace Daniel
The Keston Center for Religion, Politics, and Society welcomes Dr. Wallace Daniel, Distinguished Professor of History at Mercer University for the 2025 Keston Spring Lecture, "Speaking Truth to Power: The Revolt of a Russian Priest,” on Thursday, March 27, at 3:30 p.m. in the Armstrong Browning Library & Museum. Daniel will offer remarks from his latest publication, Freedom and the Captive Mind: Fr. Gleb Yakunin and Orthodox Christianity in Soviet Russia (Northern Illinois University Press, 2024), and then engage in conversation with Dr. Stephen Sloan, Professor of History & Director of the Institute for Oral History. A reception and book signing will follow.
