Truett Seminary is celebrating the centennial anniversary of Helen Barrett Montgomery’s New Testament—the first translation from Greek published by a woman. In honor of Montgomery’s legacy and Truett Seminary's commitment to its Baptist heritage and the affirmation of women in ministry, we proudly present the Helen Barrett Montgomery Celebration Month.
Throughout September, you are invited to participate in a series of sermons, lectures, and lunch workshops. These events will provide an enriching opportunity to delve into the life and work of Helen Barrett Montgomery, explore the significance of Bible translation, and understand its pivotal role in the life of the Church.
